Julia, Dave is saying that the hieroglyphics above and below Osiris' arm in the reworked image from another photograph and wants to know if its historically appropriate. Also the pattern below the image. The original is at:

Also Dave and Yelena , are you working from the images taken from the old UT2004 temple which you should have found in Billy's folder, or the original originals shown here? The original in Dave's posting looks like an export from UT2004, but the texture you were working on the other day definitely looked like an original photo.

viewtopic.php?p=651#p651The ultimate solution is to have Kerry Handron at the CMNH (Carnegie Museum of Natural History in Pittsburgh) send a student to the Hunt Library at CMU and take a new photograph of the front scene. We would have to justify the expense, though.
